James Costello

James Costello, 76, of Shelton, CT, formerly of West Haven, CT and East Haven, CT died peacefully at Hewitt Health & Rehabilitation Center, Shelton after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Peterson.

James was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 1, 1948, a son of the late Harry and Rose (Kaslov) Costello. He spent many years there before moving to Connecticut thirty years ago, having most recently lived in West Haven and previously East Haven before moving to Shelton four months ago, He was a retired Auto Body Repair Technician.

Survivors include two daughters, Ronnie Peterson of Hamden and Tina Peterson of West Haven, one son, Harry (Debbie Demitro) Peterson of Lake Worth Beach, FL, seven grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren.

James's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, November 19th from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, November 20th at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. washingtonmemorialfh.com
