Ivette Martínez García

Ivette Martínez García, 61, of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, formerly of New Haven, CT died suddenly at Centro Cardiovascular, Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on Sunday, May 14, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Jorge Luís Rodríguez González. Ivette was born in Vega Baja on August 6, 1961, a daughter of the late Angel Martínez and the late Ramona García. She moved to New Haven in 1994, and resided there for eighteen years before moving back to Vega Baja in 2012. Ivette is survived by her daughter Kiareily Rodríguez of New Haven, two sons, Oliver Rodríguez and his wife Anisa C. Seguí and Jaime Rodríguez and his wife Jasmin Figueroa of West Haven, and nine grandchildren. Ivette's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 24th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven, CT. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, May 25th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
