Ines Amaro Cordero Obituary

Ines Amaro Cordero, 70, of New Haven died peacefully on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Maria Medina Amaro. Ines was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico on July 2, 1951, a son of the late Natividad Amaro and the late Natividad Cordero, and had resided in New Haven for the past fifty years. He had worked in waste management, and construction for many years. Ines is survived by a daughter, Maria Amaro, and a son, Carlos Amaro of New Haven, two sisters, Alicia Amaro of New Britain and Inocencia Amaro of Yabucoa, one brother, William Amaro of Yabucoa, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Aileen Amaro and his sister Carmela Amaro. Ines' family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, September 13th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 7:00 p.m. a AIPJ Iglesia Manatial de Vida, 855 Grand Avenue, New Haven. A prayer service will take place at the church on Tuesday, September 14th at 10:00 followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
