Hero Duc Luu

Hero Duc Luu, 44, of Meriden, CT died suddenly in St. Michaels, MD on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Hero was born in Bridgeport, CT on February 1, 1980, a son of Minh Luu and Khuyen Huynh Luu of Meriden, and had resided in Bridgeport for most of his life before moving to Meriden fourteen years ago. He was a Customer Service Representative and Account Manager for Diversified, Kenilworth, NJ for the past seven years. Hero was a 1998 graduate of Central High School, and received his Bachelor's Degree from SCSU in 2006. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Hero Luu, Jr. of Southington, his brother David (Tammy Dang) Luu of Naugatuck, nieces Crystal and Jade Luu and nephew Dylan Luu of Naugatuck, and his fiancé Kristy Tran of St. Michaels. Hero's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 24th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, May 25th from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. His funeral cortege will depart the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 817 Old Colony Road, Meriden. washingtonmemorialfh.com
