Harrison E. Farah, 22, of Newtown, CT passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 31, 2023 leaving behind his close knit family and friends. Harrisson was born in Danbury. CT on December 12, 2000, a cherished son of Ehab Farah and Lynne (Rawlinson) Farah of Newtown. Harrison was a lifelong Newtown resident and 2019 graduate of Newtown High School. Harrison was residing in Maine and enrolled in the University of Southern Maine.
Harrison is also survived by his sister Karissa (Bergeron) Peters and her husband David Peters of Oxford, his brother, Christopher Bergeron of Torrington, his maternal grandparents: Noel Santella and husband Richard Santella of Newtown; John Rawlinson and his wife Maria Rawlinson of Orange, his beloved aunts and uncles: Kim D'Amico and her finacé Jeff Kirk, and Ashraf and his wife Nahed Farah, and his godparents Jane and Jamie Maher. He will be greatly missed by his niece and nephews Cameron and Kelsey Peters, Jace and Collin Bergeron, his cousins Jude and Janine Farah, Shane Blomberg and wife Maria. He was the proud "father" of his beloved "cat/dog" Tony. Harrison was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Edward and Aida Farah.
Harrison's sweet and empathetic soul will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His compassion led him to several roles encouraging youth to overcome their challenges.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 6th at 10:00 a.m. in Virgin Mary & Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church, 400 Ridge Rd., Hamden. Burial will follow in Newtown Village Cemetery, 20 Elm Dr., Newtown, CT.
