Gracielly Urbáez, 38, of New Haven, CT died suddenly at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Friday, March 31, 2023 from injuries received earlier in an automobile accident. She was the beloved wife of Samuel García, Jr. Gracielly was born in Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic on June 24, 1984, a daughter of Pascual Urbáez and Felicia Altagracia Rodríguez of New Haven, and had resided in the city for the past twenty eight years. Gracielly owned and operated Gracielly's Hair Salon of West Haven for the past twenty years. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by three sons, Jason and Justin Romero and Samuel García, III, two daughters, Jayda and Gianna García, all of New Haven, two brothers, Gianfranco (Ivelisse) Urbáez of East Haven and John (Iliana Batista) Urbáez of New Haven, her father-in-law and mother-in-law Samuel García, Sr. and Angela Morales of New Haven, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gracielly's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, April 6th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m., the Rev. Hector Rengal officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
