Gloria (Montalto) Bogen

Gloria Montalto Bogen, 82, of North Haven, CT died peacefully at her home on Friday, March 31, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles R. Bogen, Sr. Gloria was born in New Haven on October 24, 1940, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Jeanette Bowes Montalto and had resided in North Haven for the past fifty three years. She was a secretary in the admissions department at Quinnipiac University for thirty years, retiring in 2018. Gloria is survived by two sons, Charles R. Bogen, Jr. of Madison and Bryan P. Bogen and his wife Lisa of North Haven, one brother, William Montalto of Bethany, and six grandchildren, Kelsey Donecker and her husband Ethan, and Ryan, Thomas, Alec, Adriana and Julia Bogen. She was predeceased by her sister Carol Montalto. Gloria’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 3rd from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Her funeral procession will leave form the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (St. Paul VI Parish), 2819 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
