Georgina Guzman

Georgina Guzman, 65, of North Haven died peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Marcos H. Méndez. Georgina was born in Moca, Puerto Rico on May 5, 1957, the beloved daughter of Eustaquia Seguí, and had resided in Moca for most of her life before moving to North Haven in 2008. Georgina is survived by two daughters, Roseline Méndez and her husband Juan Colón of North Haven and Lisbeth Méndez of New Haven, one son, Marcos E. Méndez and his wife Lisandra Torres of New Haven, eight cherished grandchildren, Joel Martínez, Jr., Jandiel Martínez, Lismar Méndez, Marcos Méndez, Jr. and Nathaniel Méndez, and Neishaly Colón, Yashira Colón and Kiareliz Colón, two treasured great-grandchildren, Alani Martínez and Aliyah Martínez, and many loving cousins and friends. Georgina's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, December 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
