George Ranalli Obituary

George Isador Ranalli, 94, of North Haven, formerly of East Haven died peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Antoinette Gloria Landino Ranalli. George was born in Branford on September 24, 1928, a son of the late Venanzio and Sebastiana Almond Ranalli. He grew up in Branford, and resided in East Haven for most of his life before moving to North Haven eight years ago. George owned and operated the former Branford Auto Body for twenty years and later owned and operated the former Auto Center of Branford for eight years, retiring in 1989. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. George is survived by a daughter Carol Morgan of Los Angeles, CA, two sons, George G. Ranalli and his wife Jeannie of North Haven and Andrew Ranalli of Portland, OR, and one brother, Frank Ranalli and his wife Ann of Branford. He was predeceased by two brothers, Vito and Daniel Ranalli and three sisters, Clara and Josephine Cinquanta and Helen "Dolly" Allen. THERE WILL BE NO CALLING HOURS. Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to St. Vincent de Paul Church (St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish), 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven on Friday, January 6th for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
