Francelys Marie Vázquez Ramos

Francelys Marie “Frannie” Vázquez Ramos, 28 of Hamden, CT was accompanied home by the angels on Friday, August 16, 2024 from St. Francis Hospital, Hartford with her loving family by her side. Frannie was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on October 6, 1995, the beloved daughter of Maricely Ramos and José Antonio Rivera of Hamden, and had resided nearly all of her life in Hamden. Frannie attended ACES Village Elementary and Intermediate School, North Haven and graduated from ACES High School, Hamden in 2017. After graduation, she attended St. Vincent Adult Day Program in Stratford, and was a longtime member of Iglesia Cristiana Betania, (Bethany Christian Church), New Haven. Frannie enjoyed being with family and friends, and watching her favorite TV shows. She absolutely loved going to school and spending time with her teachers and classmates. In addition to her mom and dad, Frannie is survived by her sister Leilani Rivera of Hamden, her brother José Antonio Rivera, Jr. of Cidra, Puerto Rico, her maternal grandparents Felix Ramos and Elisa Torres also of Cidra, and her paternal grandmother Flora Rivera of Comerio, Puerto Rico.

Frannie’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, August 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place during the visitation time. A prayer service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 21st at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. washingtonmemorialfh.com
