Felix Manuel Ramos, 83, of New Haven died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Jacinta Martínez Ramos. Felix was born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico on June 23, 1938, a son of the late Alciclo Ramos and the late Maria Alícea, and had resided in New Haven for the past forty years. He was a mason and general contractor in Puerto Rico for many years, and worked at Interstate Pallet Co. for fifteen year before retiring from API Packing Co. of New Haven where he worked for four years. Felix is also survived by two daughters, Mevelyn Ramos of Stamford and Gloribeth Ramos of New Haven, five sons, Felix M. (Virginia) Ramos, Jr. and Carlos L. (Marcia) Ramos of Ft. Meyers, FL, and Edgar O. Ramos, Luís F. Ramos and Esequiel (Amanda Arguilles) Ramos of New Haven, fifteen grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter Carmen Delia Ramos. Felix's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
