Emanuel Torres

Emanuel Torres, 24, of New Haven, CT, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved son of Efrain and Jesusa "Suzy" Torres. Emanuel was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico on January 12, 1999, and was a lifelong New Haven resident. He was a 2020 graduate of the Gengras Center at the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford, CT. Emanuel is also survived by two sisters, Jacqueline Torres of New Havn and Mildalysa Torres and her husband Orlando Rosado of Bayamón, his maternal grandmother Vicenta Santos of Toa Alta, PR and a niece, Franchesca Nazario of Bayamón. Emanuel's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven, CT. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven, CT.
