Eliezer Cotto

Eliezer Cotto, 37 of New Haven died Friday, September 4, 2020 at Hartford Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident earlier in Meriden. Eliezer was born on July 11, 1983 in Cayey, Puerto Rico, a son of Heriberto Cotto of Cidra, Puerto Rico and Marisol Guzman of New Haven, and was a lifelong New Haven resident. He was employed in the maintenance department at Capital Place, Hartford for the past ten years. In addition to his parents, Eliezer is survived by a daughter, Cryseli Cotto and a son, Ezekiel Alberto Cotto of New Britain, his maternal grandmother Ramona Roldan of Cayey, a sister, Yarisbeth Cotto and a brother Heriberto Cotto of New Haven, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Eliezer's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 11th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, September 12th at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
