Elaine (Anderson) Potanovich-Bostin

Elaine Anderson Potanovich-Bostin, 71 of Walingford died suddenly on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Wayne Bostin. Elaine was born in Bridgeport on September 3, 1949, a daughter of the late Clinton and Mary Reynolds Anderson and had resided in Wallingford since 1979. She was a retired insurance underwriter for several companies including Nationwide Insurance Co., and Pawson Insurance Agency, Branford. She enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her friends. Her two favorite places were JRoos and Outback Steak House of North Haven. Whenever Elaine went, she was treated like family. She liked to read, and enjoyed sitting by the water just relaxing. She was a dedicated insurance professional for more than thirty years, and had a very successful career at Nationwide Insurance Co., where again, she made many friends. She was always the life of the party, and made everyone laugh. Elainie is also survived by two sons, Robert Potanovich and his wife Susan of Randolph, NJ and Jason Potanovich and his wife Mirela of Wappinger Falls, NY, one sister, Cheryl Tomkiewicz and her husband James of Meriden, a grandson, Ryan Matthew Potanovich of Randolph, NJ, two nieces, one nephew, and her very dear friends Carrie, Keith and Savanna. She was predeceased by her first husband Robert Michael Potanovich. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will take place at a later date.
