Edwin Luís Torres, Jr.

Edwin Luís Torres, Jr., 31 of New Haven died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Edwin was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on March 23, 1989, a son of Wilma Ortíz of New Haven and Edwin Luís Torres, Sr. of Pennsylvania. He had resided in New Haven for the past twenty three years, and had attended Wilbur Cross High School. Edwin had worked as a driver and set up person for a rental company. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Yaritza Torres of New Haven his maternal grandparents Eudosia Colón Bermúdez and Otilio Ortíz of Santa Isabel, PR, his paternal grandmother Emeteria Martínez, also of Santa Isabel, two nieces, Denise and Naila Ocasio of New Haven, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and frinds. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Felix Torres. Edwin's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, August 6th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
