Edward James Heenan

Edward James Heenan, 66, of North Haven, CT died suddenly at his home on Thursday, December 26, 2024. He was the beloved husband of forty four years to Carol (Petrazzulo) Heenan. Ed was born in New Haven, CT on December 8, 1958, a son of the late Dunnith R. and Evelyn (Brown) Heenan, and had resided in North Haven for the past thirty two years. He had a thirty year career as a regional sales manager for the Comag Marketing Group, retiring in July of this year, and was a 1976 graduate of Lee High School, New Haven. Ed was an avid sports fan of the New York Giants, New York Rangers and Boston Red Sox, and had visited all but three major league baseball stadiums. His greatest love however was spending time with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren who adoringly called him "Pa".

In addition to his beloved wife Carol, Ed is survived by his daughter Kara (Sandro) Oliveira of North Haven, two sons, Edward James Heenan, Jr. of North Haven and James Edward (Meagan) Heenan of Trumbull, one sister, Jean Munzner of Moodus, one brother, Dunnith (Sharon) Heenan, Jr. of Madison, and his five adoring grandchildren, Ryan, Wesley and Grady Oliveira and Finley and Declan Heenan.

Ed's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, December 31st from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Words of comfort will be shared at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private. washingtonmemorialfh.com
