Doris (Francesconi) Nori

Doris Francesconi Nori, 96 of Wallingford, formerly of Stafford, VA and West Haven, CT died peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Vitas Hospice, Waterbury with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Anthony Nori. Doris was born in New Haven on January 20, 1924, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elide Rafielli Francesconi. She had resided in Wallingford for the past year and a half. She had previously lived in Stafford, VA for thirteen years and West Haven for most of her life. Doris was a salesperson at the former Alexander’s Department Store of Milford  for twenty years, retiring in 1989. She is survived by three daughters, Lisa (Blair) Carlson of Stafford, Noreen (Joseph) Bonessi of Naugatuck and Toni (James) DeNegris of Wallingford, one son, David L. (Michaela) Jaquelin of Naugatuck, five grandchildren, Shelly (Mike) Kelly, Richard Bonessi, Anthony (Meggan) Bonessi, Danielle (Jeff) Scanlon and Ryan Paolino, and eleven greatgrandchildren, Justin, Steven, Jonathan, Michaela, Mick, Lily, Sophia, Kendall, Aaron, Victoria and Anthony, Jr. She was predeceased by two sisters, Lola García and Irene Morgillo. Doris' family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, February 11th from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.Her funeral procession will leave from the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. for a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. in St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave., West Haven.
