Donald Manuel Morriar, III, 39, of West Haven, CT, formerly of Hamden, CT, and East Haven, CT, died suddenly on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Don was born in New Haven on August 18, 1983, the beloved son of Donald Manuel Morriar, Jr. of West Haven and Sonia Roman of New Haven. Donald grew up in Hamden, lived in East Haven for eight years and had resided in West Haven for the past two years, and was a 2002 graduate of West Haven High School. He was a carpenter and member of Carpenter's Union, Local 326 of Yalesville. He also received his nursing degree from Eli Whiney Vocational Technical School in 2006. Don loved spending time with his children, cooking and working on cars. In addition to his parents, Don is survived by two daughters, Juliana AnnMarie Morriar of Naugatuck and Ariana Grace Morriar of East Haven, three sons, Donald Manuel Morriar, IV of Naugatuck and Donovan Manuel Morriar and Adonis Joel Morriar of East Haven, one sister, DeAndres Marie (Leslie) Milano of Madison, his maternal grandparents Rafael and Manuela Roman of New Haven, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predecesed by his paternal grandparents Donald M. and Elenora Morriar, Sr. Don's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Vertical Church, 225 Meloy Rd., West Haven. A funeral service will take place at the church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
