Domenic G. Mercurio

Domenic G. Mercurio, 74 of North Haven, CT died suddenly at his home on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Domenic was born in Vieste, province of Foggia, Italy on April 14, 1949, a son of the late Michele and Giovanna Gallo Mercurio, and had resided in Middletown for most of his life before moving to North Haven ten years ago. He was a Design Engineer for United Technologies for twenty five years, retiring in 2011. Domenic was a 1967 graduate of West Haven High School, a graduate of GatewayTechnical School, and was a proud US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He is survived by his sister Maria Mercurio of Wallingford, two brothers, Frank (Carolina) Mercurio of Rock Hill, SC and Pasquale (Leda) Mercurio of Wallingford, and six nieces and nephews, Michael (Sarah) Mercurio, Patricia (Paul) Amodei, Melissa (George) Gensure, Bianca (Russ) Arvidson, Christopher (Kelly Baker) Skiest and Sara Skiest. Domenic’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, December 11th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. followed by Military Honors. Burial will be private. washingtonmemorialfh.com
