Domenic Joseph D'Andrea

Domenic Joseph D’Andrea, 84, of North Haven died peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. He was the beloved husband of fifty nine years to Carolyn Dionne D’Andrea. Domenic was born in New Haven on January 18, 1938, a son of the late Joseph and Emanuelle “Mollie” Parisi D’Andrea, and had resided in North Haven for the past forty six years. He was a gunsmith for Marlin Firearms, formerly of North Haven for more than thirty years, retiring in 2004. Domenic proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1961. He is also survived by his son Michael D. D’Andrea and his wife Maryellen of North Haven, a brother, John D’Andrea of Wallingford, two beloved grandchildren, Domenic J. D’Andrea and Molly K. D’Andrea, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Marie DeFelice. Domenic’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, January 15th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. followed by military honors. Burial will be private.
