Denise Marie Camacho

Denise Marie Camacho, 32, of Waterbury died peacefully on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side. Denise was born in Farmington on July 20, 1989, a daughter of Olga Muñiz Schibi and Getulio Vélez and had resided in Waterbury for most of her life. She was a 2012 graduate of Naugatuck High School Adult Education Program. Denise is survived by her parents Olga and Robert Schibi of Torrington, a daughter, Angelina Camacho and a son, Isaiah Camacho of Waterbury, two sisters, Crystal L. Vélez of Naugatuck and Stephanie Schibi of New Haven, her maternal grandmother Luz Muñiz of Naugatuck, her aunt Nydia Sotomayor and her husband Michael of Naugatuck, her niece Isabella Guadalupe of New Haven, and many loving cousins and friends. Denise's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, December 13th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Road, Waterbury.
