Dawson Michael Wallander

Dawson Michael Wallander, 23, of North Haven died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Dawson was born in Bridgeport on December 4, 1998, a son of David Charles and Dorothy Orloski Wallander of North Haven. He was working for Rainbow Restoration of Hamden for the past two years, and previously worked at UPS for three years. Dawson was a kind sole who loved his family, cars and being with friends. He is also survived by two brothers, David John Wallander of Meriden and Dean Charles Wallander of North Haven, his maternal grandfather John Orloski of Shelton and his paternal grandfather David Charles Wallander, Sr. of Sacramento, CA, his girlfriend Emma Vail of Guilford and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Dawson’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, July 9th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m., the Reverend Timothy Meehan officiating. Burial will be private. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
