David M. Roberts

David M. Roberts of Hamden, CT, formerly of North Haven, CT and Durham, CT passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the age of 66. He was born in New Haven, CT the son of the late Earl and Helen Roberts on November 22, 1956. After graduating from the University of Mississippi, David began his career as Vice President of the family business, E.H. Roberts Company, located in North Haven. Following the sale of the company, David continued his career at GHP Media until his retirement.

David was an avid golfer and dedicated martial artist. He loved traveling to the beach, and enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and Miami Dolphins. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

David was a proud father and grandfather, survived by his children Elizabeth (Kyle) Breininger, James (Jean Tuvilla-Roberts) Roberts, Steven Roberts, Katherine (Nate) Breininger, his grandchildren, Sofia, Cecelia, Ava, and soon to be Thomas, his sister Debra, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Douglas Roberts.

David’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 6th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
