David Isleb Obituary

David A. Isleb, 83 of North Haven, CT, formerly of Hawthorne, IL died peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus. He was the beloved husband of Jo Ann Wester Isleb. David was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 4, 1941, a son of the late Harold A. and Alvide Tendick Isleb. He grew up in Shorewood, WI, and resided in Hawthorne Woods for more than thirty years before moving to North Haven in 2021. David worked in supply chain management, and as a consultant for the Quaker Oats Co., IBM, and Stone Management Corp. of Chicago for a total of thirty six years, retiring in 2006. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, and his Master’s Degree in Transportation from Northwestern University, and also served in the Air National Guard. In addition to his wife Jo Ann, David is survived by two sons, Matthew Isleb and his life partner Tiffany Taylor of Bow, WA and Timothy Isleb and his wife Deb of Nevada, IA, a step-daughter, Kristyn Camera and her husband Paul of North Haven, one sister, Marion “Sue” Leslie of Roscoe, IL, and four grandchildren, Ryne Isleb, Wrigley Isleb, Sheila Taylor and Joseph Camera. He was predeceased by his brother James H. Isleb.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 27th  at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 600 Shepard Ave., Hamden. Burial will be private.
