Danny Baker Obituary

Danny Raul Baker, 30, of Bridgeport, CT died suddenly at his home on Monday, October 9, 2023. Danny was born in New Haven, CT on November 27, 1989, a son of Marisol Heredia Cloud of Bristol and the late Kevin Baker, and had resided in New Haven for most of his life. He was a loving, caring and beautiful soul. Danny was in the process of pursuing his high school diploma, and was living with his girlfriend Ayrica L’Minggio. He was a devoted basketball player since the age of twelve, and was offered a scholarship. Coaches would fight over him, that’s how good he was. He is also survived by his step-father of sixteen years Tyron Cloud of Bristol, his paternal grandmother Virginia Baker of Sumter, SC, four sisters, Sasha Herdedia and Shaquana Adams of Hamden, Deshawn Mann of New Haven and Shiniqua Mann of New Britain, one brother, Marcus Heredia of Waterbury, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Kevin Lee Baker, and his maternal grandmother Elsie Matos. Danny’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, October 21st  from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church on the Green, 230 Temple St., New Haven. A funeral service will take place at the church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
