Cynthia Oliveras, 48 of New Haven died suddenly in Stonington, CT on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Cynthia was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico on September 27, 1970, the beloved daughter of Aida (Acosta Miranda) Vidro Santiago of New Haven and the late Celestino Vidro Santiago. She lived in New Haven for most of her life, and had also resided in Newport, RI for eight years. Cynthia worked for New England Linen of New Haven for the past five years. She was a member of the Flaming Knights MC of New Haven. In addition to her mother, Cynthia is survived by a daughter, Annette Oliveras, two sons, Efrain Oliveras, Jr. and Miguel Angel (Lisandra Santana) Oliveras, one brother, Albert (Julia Cruz) Vidro, her fiancé, Cesar Negron, and her former husband, Efrain Oliveras, Sr., all of New Haven, and five grandchildren, Alban Santiago, Jr., Alexis Santiago, Abel Santiago, Amayalis Oliveras and Yadiel Colón. Cynthia's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 16th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, August 17th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
