Colleen (Jagrosse) King

Colleen (Jagrosse) King, 92, of Mystic, CT formerly of Milford, CT and Bethany, CT died peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 13, 2025 with her loving daughter Robin by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Cecil "Zeke" Eugene King. Colleen was born in New Haven, CT on March 17, 1932, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Irene (Gamester) Jagrosse. She lived in New Haven for many years before moving to the Woodmont section of Milford for fifteen years, Batesburg Leesville, SC for a year, Goodlettsvile, TN for seventeen years, then Bethany for seventeen years before moving to Mystic in 2013. Collen worked in several area manufacturing companies for many years, retiring in 1974.

Collen is survived by her daughter Robin Stewart and her husband Milan Bozanic of Mystic, her son Raymond Stewart of Bethany, two sisters, Rita Hubbell of Southington, and Patricia Moran of North Haven, three grandchildren, Sarah Esposito and Joseph (Sara) Esposito, and Raymond Stewart, and four great-grandchildren, Charles Liam Esposito, Olivia & Emily Esposito, and Mary Jane Littlejohn. She was predeceased by her son Charles F. Esposito, three sisters, Irene Mosco, Dorothy Crisanti and Florence Lybrand, and five brothers, George, William, Robert, Richard and Alphonse Jagrosse, Jr.

Colleen's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 21st from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Her funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. at St. Therese Church (St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish), 555 Middletown Ave., North Haven.
