Claudio Moises Jiménez Chuqui

Claudio Moises Jiménez Chuqui, 47 of West Haven died peacefully at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Thursday, August 12, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Claudio was born in Rumipamba, Cuenca, Cantón Azuay, Ecuador on September 12, 1973, a son of Carmen Lucila Chuqui of Azuay, Ecuador and the late Luís Miguel Jiménez Pesantes. He came to the U.S. in 2000, and had lived in New Haven for nineteen years before moving to West Haven two years ago. Carlos worked for Litchfield Builders, Inc for the past twenty years. In addition to his mother, Claudio is survived by two sisters, Blanca and Lorgia Jiménez of Cuenca, Azuay, Ecuador, three brothers Rodrigo Jiménez of Cuenca, and Marcelo and Milton Jiménez of Sigsig, Cuenca, Azuay, Ecuador, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, Claudio's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, August 21st from 5:00 to 8;00 p.m. and Sunday August 22nd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
