Charlene Beth Johnson

Charlene Beth Johnson, 59, of Hamden, CT died peacefully on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, York St. Campus with her loving family by her side. Charlene was born in New Haven, CT on August 1, 1965, a daughter of the late Albert and Eleanor (Nilson) Johnson, and was a lifelong Hamden resident. She graduated from Hamden High School in 1983, and pursued a career in hairdressing. Charlene worked for more than ten years at Franco's Creative Hair Design and later at Trixi's Cuts for Kids, both of Hamden.

Charlene is survived by her daughter Jasmine Nicole Ayers of Milford, her son Nicholas Garrison of Stony Brook, NY, one sister, Heidi DeBerry of San Diego, CA, and three cousins, Robert Johnson and Alice Cocco of New Haven, and Erika Baglioni of Bristol.

Charlene's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 2nd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Burial will be private. washingtonmemorialfh.com
