Catherine "Cathy" Marie Guadagnino Dotson, 47 of East Haven died peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 15, 2020. She was the beloved wife of twenty four years to Raven C. Dotson, Sr. Cathy was born in Staten Island, NY on October 3, 1972, a daughter of Charles and Kathleen McNulty Guadagnino of North Branford. She grew up in North Branford, lived in New Haven for five years, and had resided in East Haven for the past sixteen years. Cathy was a 1990 graduate of North Branford High School, and worked for several years as a hairdresser and secretary. She was an avid reader, especially of love stories, loved to cook, as she spent endless hours in her kitchen cooking for her beloved family and many friends. According to her husband, everything Cathy created in her kitchen came out fabulous. In addition to her husband and parents, Cathy is survived by two sons, Raven C. Dotson, Jr. and his companion Alyssa Davis, and Christopher A. Dotson, a daughter, Judy K. Dotson, two grandchildren, Aiden and Adrianna Dotson, and her maternal grandfather James McNulty, all of East Haven, a sister, Theresa A. Guadagnino of North Branford, a brother, J.D. Halloway of Casper, WY, two godchildren, Joshua Fry of Madison, and Xavier Pérez of New Haven, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Benedict J. Guadagnino. Cathy's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, August 20th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Her funeral procession will leave from the funeral home on Friday, August 21st at 10:15 a.m. for a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford, the Rev. Kenneth W.
