Carol-Anne (Vaccaro) Gaetano

Carole-Anne Vaccaro Gaetano, 76 of Hamden, CT died peacefully at the Grimes Center, New Haven with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of fifty two years to Michael Gaetano. Carol was born in New Haven on July 20, 1946, a daughter of the late Domenic and Caroline D’Ambrosio Vaccaro, and was a life-long Hamden resident. She was a Trust and Estate Specialist at Yale University for more than twelve years. Carol was a co-founder and CFO of Trust Your Gut Productions. She was a terrific cook who loved teaching her techniques to her many children, and was a shrewd and moral business woman who never gave up. Besides her husband Michael, Carol is survived by her son Michael D. Gaetano of Gloversville, NY, two brothers, Thomas (Marie) Vaccaro of Wallingford and Dominic (Donna) Vaccaro of Guilford, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carol’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, March 15th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
