Carmen Lydia Cotto González

Carmen Lydia Cotto González, 68, of New Haven, formerly of Cayey, Puerto Rico died peacefully at Hartford Hospital on Monday, December 26, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Carmen Lydia was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico on August 5, 1954, a daughter of the late Arcadio Cotto and the late Palmira González and had resided in Cayey for most of her life before moving to New Haven in 2002. She is survived by a son, Natanael Cotto and his wife Marlene Rodríguez of Ansonia, four sisters, Anna and Felícita Cotto of New Haven, Elvira Ortíz and her husband Carlos of Rochester, NY and Luz Annette Cotto of New Bedford, MA, five brothers, Confesor, Francisco and Victor Cotto of New Haven, Wilfredo Cotto of New Bedford, MA and Hector Cotto of Rochester, NY, four grandchildren, Natanael, Nathaly and Ana Cotto and Carlos Rodríguez, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by two sisters, Maria Cotto and Sara Cotto, and three brothers, Leonardo, Miguel and Santos Cotto. Carmen's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 4th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
