Carlos Antonio Leyria

Carlos Antonio Leyria, 56 of West Haven, CT died peacefully on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of thirty five years to Dolores del Carmen Santillan. Carlos was born in El Valle, Cordoba, Argentina on July 26, 1964 a son Elide Ramírez of Villa Dolores, Argentina and the late Alberto Sebastián Leyria. He had resided in West Haven for the past twenty years. Carlos was a plumber by trade, and owned and operated C.A.L. Home Improvement of West Haven for the past ten years. Carlos is also survived by a daughter, Dolores Anahi Leyria of West Haven, two sons, Carlos Sebastian Leyria of Cordoba City, Argentina and Santiago David (Margaret) Leyria of Cheshire, CT, three brothers, José Alberto Leyria and Julio (Graciela) Leyria of Neuquén, Argentina, and Guillermo (Mari Carmen) Leyria of Caravaca, Spain, two grandchildren, Alana Sofia Leyria and Abigail Josephine Leyria, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carlos' family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, June 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at CCRN (Comunidad Cristiana de Restauración a las Naciones, 43 Jones Road, Hamden, CT. A funeral service will take place during that time.
