Bienvenido Gonz

Bienvenido González Ramos, 76, of New Haven, CT, formerly of Rincón, Puerto Rico died peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Hernando Pasco Hospice, New Port Richey, FL with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Florentina García Rodríguez. Bienvenido was born in Añasco, Puerto Rico on March 22, 1948, a son of the late Antonio González and the late Carmen Ramos and had resided in Rincón for many years before moving to New Haven thirty seven years ago. Bienvenido was a machinist for Electrix Illumination Appliances of New Haven for more than thirty years, retiring in 2010. 

He is survived by his daughter Jacqueline González García of New Haven, three sons, Bienvenido (Madeline) González García of New Port Richey, and José González García and Juan Carlos González García of New Haven, one sister, Franchesca Cabasquini of New Haven, ten grandchildren, Alexis, Katherine, William, Olga, Meralys, Jackeline, Daniel, Juan, Geremias and Thanairy González, sixteen grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Iris Camelia González and a brother, Antonio González.

Bienvenido's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, October 21st from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Iglesia Manatial de Vida, 855 Grand Ave., New Haven. A funeral service will take place at the church on Tuesday, October 22nd at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven, CT. washingonmemorialfh.com
