Bianca I. Velázquez

Bianca I. Velázquez, 23 of Hartford, formerly of New Britain died suddenly on Sunday, May 17, 2020. She was the beloved daughter of Bianca Rose Velázquez Fuentes of New Haven and José Antonio Villanueva of Puerto Rico. Bianca was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, and had resided in New Britain for most of her life before moving to Hartford two years ago. At the time of her death, she was working as a dental assistant for Sutton Dental & Braces of Hartford. In addition to her parents, Bianca is survived by her maternal grandmother Guillermina Fuentes Osorio and her paternal grandmother Estrudy Davila Osorio, both of Puerto Rico, five sisters, Jaiza (Robert Smart) Rodriguez, Hilda (Martín Pérez) Balbuena, Gelimar (José Agustin) Balbuena and Dagrienys Zorrilla, all of New Haven, and Neliza (Peniel Rosario) Balbuena of New Britain, three brothers, Henry (Carla Ceda) Balbuena of New Britain, Daniel Balbuena of Miami, FL and Randy Carrasquillo of New Haven, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bianca's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 22nd from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 2:15 p.m. and proceed to Evergreen Cemetery, 769 Ella Grasso Blvd., New Haven for a graveside service at 2:45 p.m. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
