Asad Geovanni Lopez

Asad Geovanni López, 41, of New Haven, CT died suddenly at his home on Monday, February 6, 2024. Asad was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on December 19, 1982, a son of Aida Rosa López of New Haven and Bienvenido López of Arecibo. He had lived in Hatillo, PR for most of his life before moving to New Haven fifteen years ago. Asad is also survived by two sons, Damián López of Georgia, FL and Casin Emanuel López of New Haven, two sisters, Lisandra and Michelle López of Puerto Rico, two brothers, Kevin López of New Haven and Alfredo López of Puerto Rico, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Augustín López. Asad's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, February 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Iglesia Cristiana Estrella Resplandeciente de Jacob (Radiant Star of Jacob Christian Church), 185 Chapel St., New Haven. A funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
