Arlyn I. (Martínez) Adderson

Arlyn I. Martínez Adderson, 64, of New Haven died peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of eighteen years to James A. Adderson. Arlyn was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on February 5, 1958, a daughter of the late Abraham and Antonia Báez Martínez. She had lived in Brooklyn, NY for ten years before moving to New Haven in 1968. Arlyn was a Document Image Technician at Yale-New Haven Hospital for the past forty three years. Besides her husband James, Arlyn is survived by two sisters, Nayda Martínez of New Haven and Jeanette (Donald) Phelps of Lancaster, NH, a brother-in-law, Ed Rodríguez of New Haven, two nieces, Lindsey Rodríguez and Ashley (Joshua) Ortíz of New Haven, two nephews, Shawn Phelps of Lancaster and Daniel Rodríguez of New Haven, and two great nephews, Sasha and Soren Ortíz also of New Haven. Arlyn's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, August 21st from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
