April (Fair) Gieparda

April Fair Gieparda, 55, of Wallingford, CT, formerly of East Haven, CT and West Haven, CT died suddenly on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Midstate Medical Center, Meriden with her loving family by her side. April was born in New Haven, CT on April 21, 1968, a daughter of the late John Fair and the late Ethel Malkowski. She lived in West Haven until she was eighteen, and then lived in East  Haven for most of her life before moving to Wallingford in 2016. She was a personal care assistant at Yale New Haven Hospital for twenty years until 2010. April is survived by her daughter Jaime L. Gieparda of Branford, two sons, Kenneth J. Gieparda and Jason W. Gieparda, one sister, Lauri J. Carrano and her husband Michael Carrano, two brothers, Lewis Malkowski and his wife Anna Malkowski and David F. Malkowski, all of East Haven, and her grandson, Lawrence Allen Konareski, III. She was predeceased by her brother Walter Malkowski. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service which will be held on Saturday, May 27th at 11:00 a.m. in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden.
