Antonio Rafael Cruz

Antonio Rafael Cruz, 36, of New Haven died suddenly Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Antonio was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico on February 21, 1986, a son of Paula Ortíz of New Haven and the late Rafael Antonio Cruz. He had resided in New Haven for the past thirty one years. Antonio is also survived by three sisters, Auria, Estefania and Margarita Cruz, all of New Haven, two brothers, Evazul Ortíz of Tampa, FL and Gabriel Cruz of New Haven, five nieces, Jayda Moore, Aurielys, Michelle and Camyla Berrocales and Mariah Jackson, six nephews, Juan Scruggs, Mason Williamson, Carlos and Jonathan Berrocales and Juan Miguel Cruz, all of New Haven, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Antonio's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, August 11th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
