Angelina Rossetti Ciancola, 88 of North Haven, formerly of West Haven died peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Leon Ciancola. Angelina was born in New Haven on February 24, 1932, a daughter of the late James and Antonietta Petrucci Rossetti, and had resided in West Haven for many years before moving to North Haven fourteen years ago. In her early years she worked as a seamstress at local New Haven area dress shops, and then spent the majority of her years tending to her family. Angelina is survived by a daughter, Laura Jean Scillia and her husband Louis of North Haven, one sister, Marie Consorte and her husband Frank of West Haven, two grandchildren, Louis Scillia and Lisa Bernardo and her husband Mario of North Haven, and three great-grandchildren, Amato, Mario and Angela Rose Bernardo. She was predeceased by a sister, Carmela Marrenna. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 22nd at 12:00 p.m. at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven, the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiated.
