Angel Manuel Villanueva, 77 of New Haven, formerly of Miami, FL died peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Benecia Villanueva. Angel was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico on June 7, 1943, a son of the late Martín Villanueva and the late Carmen Luz Jiménez, and had resided in New Haven for the past three years. He had previously lived in Miami, for forty years. He was a retired machinist. Angel is survived by a son, Angel M. Villanueva, Jr. of Puerto Rico, a sister, Rev. Brixeida Márquez of New Haven, and a nephew, José Factor of Miami. Funeral services for Angel are private, and have been entrusted to Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
