Andre A. López

Andre A. López, 66, of West Haven died peacefully on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of thirty two years to Enilda Torres López. Andre was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on September 23, 1955, a son of the late José López and the late Felicita Soto. He had lived in New Haven for most of his life before moving to West Haven twenty years ago. Andre worked in the maintenance department for the New Haven Housing Authority for thirty years, retiring in 2011 due to health issues. He is also survived by two sons, José A. García and his fiancé Randi Trinidad and Andres (Stephanie) García of West Haven, four sisters, Elba López of West Haven, Migdalia López and Maria (Elias) del Gado of New Haven and Rose (Mike Mathews) López of Stratford, two brothers, José López of Hamden and Frank López of New Haven, and uncle, Martín (Carmen) López of New Haven, two grandchildren, Isaiah and Chloe García, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Andre’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 25th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
