Anahid Mangassarian, 73, of West Haven, CT died peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Hartford Hospital. Anahid was born in Cairo, Egypt on October 3, 1952, a daughter of the late Kasbar and Vartouhi (Tevekelian) Mangassarian. She formerly worked as an administrator at the American Embassy in Cairo, and later as a recruiter for Albertus Magnus College, New Haven.
Anahid is survived by her sister, Siran Dietz of West Haven.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday, January 19th at 11:00 a.m. in Virgin Mary & Archangel Michael Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church, 400 Ridge Road, Hamden. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden. washingtonmemorialfh.com
