Ana (Rios) Padua

Ana Rios Padua, 94, of New Haven, CT died peacefully at her home on Friday, September 8, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Bienvenido Padua. Ana was born in Quebradilla, Puerto Rico on December 28, 1928, a daughter of the late Guillermo Rios and the late Maria Luciano and had resided in New Haven since 1970, She was a business owner and had operated various gift shops throughout the New Haven area. Ana is survived by two sons, James (Carmen) Padua and Richard (Pamela) Padua of New Haven, a daughter, Lucy Rios of San Antonio, TX, a brother, Miguel Rios of Meriden, seven grandchildren, Jasmin, James, Richard, Elijah and Tanarha Padua, Lisa Rios and Mariana Miller, two great-granddaughters, Tirzah and Talia, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her grandson Michael Gabriel Padua and two sisters, Juana Rios and Maria Altreche. Ana's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, September 12th from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. washingtonmemorialfh.com
