Alexander Pedraza Díaz

Alexander Perdaza Díaz, 40, of New Haven died suddenly on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Alexander was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on September 22, 1982, the beloved son of Tomás Pedraza and Andrea Díaz of New Haven, and was a New Haven resident for the past thirty five years. He is also survived by two daughters, Lexy Marie Pedraza and Liany Marie Pedraza of Coamo, Puerto Rico, two brothers, Tomás Chael Pedraza and Anthony Pedraza of New Haven, his fiancé with whom he resided, Laura Cano, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Alexander's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 27th at Star of Jacob Christian Church (Iglesia Cristiana Estrella de Jacob), 506 Howard Ave., New Haven from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at the church during visitation time. A prayer service will take place at the church on Saturday, January 28th at 9:30 a.m. followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
