Alberto Luís "Yankee" Romero, 38, of New Haven died suddenly at his home on Saturday, October 22, 2022. He was the beloved son of the late Eluterio Romero and the late Wanda Maysonet, and had resided in New Haven for the past fifteen years. He had previously lived in the Bronx, NY for ten years. Yankee had worked in construction for much of his life and was an avid New York Yankees fan. He is survived by three daughters, Sarehisha and Alisson Romero of the Bronx and Khloe Romero of New Haven, one sister Mariela Osorio of Loiza, and seven brothers, Alex Cirino of Pennsylvania, his twin brother Luís Romero of Buffalo, NY, José and Eliút Romero and Benjamin Osorio of Loiza, Markarís Romero of the Bronx, and Josue Romero of Florida. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Yankee's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 2nd from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
