Nelly Urgiles

Nelly Urgiles, 37 of New Haven died peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side. Nelly was born in Sucua, Morona Santiago, Ecuador on December 20, 1981, a daughter of Manuel Urgiles of Huambi, Ecuador and Maria Lucila Urgiles of Sucua and had resided in New Haven for the past nineteen years. Nelly was a self employed housekeeper for eighteen years up until the time of her illness. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sisters, Irma (Manuel León) Urgiles of New Haven, Miriam (Juan Pablo Maposita) Urgiles of Waterbury and Lilian Urgiles of Sucua, two brothers, Benito (Sara) Urgiles and Rolando Jaya of New Haven and her fiancé Marco Binicio Roman of New Haven. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Nelly's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, August 6th at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A prayer service will take place at the funeral home at 8:00 p.m. Funeral services and burial will take place in Mendéz, Morona Santiago, Ecuador. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
