JoAnne Elliott-Cicarella

JoAnne Quiwa Elliott-Cicarella, 52 of Wallingford died peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of sixteen years to Michael C. Cicarella. JoAnne was born in San Fernando Pampango, Philippines on April 9, 1967, a daughter of Jan P. and Aurora Aguilar Quiwa of Wood Ridge, NJ. She lived in New Jersey for most of her life, and had resided in Connecticut for nineteen years, the past twelve years in Wallingford. JoAnne was a free-lance IT consultant for the past twenty years. She is also survived by three sons, Christopher Bryce Elliott and his wife Tina of Rutherford, NJ, and Michael Connor Cicarella and Spencer Ethan Cicarella of Wallingford, her maternal grandmother Inocencia Aguilar and paternal grandmother Alejandra Quiwa of San Fernando Pampango, one grandson Clark Elliott of Rutetherford, NJ, three sisters, Jennifer Ann Quiwa-Sowinski and her husband Joseph of North Arlington, NJ, Jane Zavala and her husband Carlos of Lyndhurst, NJ and Jamie Alex Lapy and her husband Victor of Wood Ridge, NJ, and one brother, Joe Jan Quiwa and his wife Rosette of St. Cloud, FL. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Elias Aguilar, and her paternal grandfather Colonel Samuel Quiwa. JoAnne's family will receive relative and friends on Monday, October 14th from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Her funeral procession will leave from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15th for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 2819 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
