Homer Frederick Brawn, 86 of Hamden formerly of Grafton and Shrewsbury, MA died peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford with his loving family by his side. Homer was born in Grafton, Massachusetts on November 2, 1932, a son of the late Glendon and Gladys Black Brawn, Sr. He had resided in Grafton and Shrewsbury for most of his life before moving to Hamden six years ago. Homer worked in manufacturing for many years including fifteen years at the former Coz Chemical Company of Grafton, and was a proud Korean War Army Veteran. He is survived by one daughter, Tammy A. Ruddy of Prospect, one son, Dale F. (Kim) Brawn of North Haven, and four grandchildren, Ryan and Gavin Brawn, Brittney (Kevin) Chaconis and James Ruddy. He was predeceased by two brothers, Glendon Brawn, Jr. and Eric "Happy" Brawn.
