Grace Golia Potter, 91 of New Haven died peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Earl William Poter, Sr. Grace was born in New Haven on September 25, 1927, a daughter of the late George and Joesphine Abate Golia and was a lifelong New Haven resident. She worked at the former JBT Instruments of New Haven for more than forty years, retiring in 1994, and was a member of the former Conte Senior Center. Grace is survived by her daughter, June Oliveras and her husband Efrain of New Haven, her son, Earl William Potter, Jr. of Naugatuck, six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother John Golia and a great grandson, Oscar Navarez, II. Grace's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Her funeral procession will leave from the funeral home on Saturday, September 7th at 9:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Michael Church, 29 Wooster Place, New Haven.
